How to run a Trivia Wheel Game
The Trivia Category Wheel is designed to make quiz nights, classroom review sessions, and family game nights more unpredictable and engaging. The wheel loads with 10 classic quiz categories by default — including History, Science, Pop Culture, and Geography. You can use these immediately by hitting SPIN, or you can customise the board. To add your own subjects, clear the existing entries and type them in one by one, or use the Bulk Edit tab to paste your entire category list at once. The wheel instantly updates to show your custom trivia topics. A key feature for quizmasters is the Auto-remove Winner setting, found under the Options gear icon. When enabled, each category is permanently removed from the board after it is picked. This ensures your pub quiz works through all the available subjects without ever repeating a category. The wheel is powered by a cryptographic random number generator, meaning the result is decided fairly before the spin animation even begins. This transparency stops players from arguing that the host deliberately picked a subject to favour a specific team. If you are running an event with co-hosts, you can click Share to copy a link containing your exact wheel configuration. When your team opens the link, they get the same pre-loaded wheel. The tool is entirely free, requires no downloads, and runs directly in the browser on phones, tablets, and projectors.
