How the wheel works

Type entries one at a time, or open Bulk Edit and paste a whole column from a spreadsheet. The wheel redraws as you go.

Spin it
Click the wheel or the Spin button. The winner is chosen before the animation starts, so the spin is a reveal rather than the draw itself.

Keep going, or take the winner out
Spin again for another pick, or turn on Auto-Remove so each winner leaves the wheel — useful for working through a class or a multi-prize raffle.

Save it or send it
Save the wheel to reload it next time, or use Share to get a link that carries the whole list. Anyone opening it gets your wheel, ready to spin.

How does the wheel spinner work?
Enter names or items into the entries panel on the right, then click "SPIN" or click the wheel itself. The wheel spins with a smooth deceleration and stops on a randomly selected entry. Every entry has an equal probability of being chosen each time you spin.
Is the selection truly random?
Yes. The winner is chosen with the browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) before the animation even begins — the spin itself is purely visual. The target segment is calculated first, and the wheel is animated to land precisely on it. No outcome can be predicted or influenced by how long you watch.
How do I add multiple names at once?
Switch to the "Bulk Edit" tab in the entries panel. You can paste or type a list of names — one per line — and the wheel updates instantly. This is the fastest way to load a large list of participants.
Can I remove the winner automatically after each spin?
Yes! Open the Options panel (the gear icon on the wheel page) and enable "Auto-remove Winner". The winning entry will be removed from the wheel after each spin, so it can't be picked again — perfect for raffles and contests.
